The Coop Series

Delilah 30 x 40, acrylic, oil, collage. She was commissioned by a lovely woman. Actually, she’s a lady. And, just stop asking her Why Why Why? She just doesn’t know, or care.
Choral is a tall, lanky thing at 18 x 36. She loves to sing, and she is the colour of coral so she’s Choral.
Yvette is 16 x 20, acrylic. She graces any wall with flair and finesse.
Stella. Acrylic, 30 x 40 STELLA! She ain’t gonna talk to ya.
Poppy, 18 x 24. Acrylic and a little splurch of spray. She’s in full bloom and pretty darned pleased about it. SOLD. Bye bye Poppy
Mable. 30 x 40 Acrylic. After countless reminders to get her elbows off the table, Mable demonstrated that she really was quite able, and stormed outta there. After a few years, she found where she was accepted, bad manners and all.
Abigail. 18 x 24. She was rescued from the crocosmia. A bit scratched up, but feeling perky.
Evelyn Emerges. 18 x 24, acrylic. She is so tired of the quarantine. Here she comes.
Precious Opal. She’s anything but common. 18×24, acrylic, ink and oilstick.
She is a commission and so is adorning the walls of another. SOLD
Iris 2.0. SOLD 30 x 40, acrylic, charcoal and ink. She used to be quite natural but she has now had a little work done. She’s happy with her new look.
Genevive is 24 x 30. Acrylic, ink and oilstick.
She has a healthy self esteem. She would like you to know she thinks “je suis beau”
Millicent. 24 x 30. Acrylic, ink, and oilstick. She’s peaceful and sweet, but, don’t underestimate her. She’s a riot. And apparently someone else thought so too, because she’s gone to spread cheer elsewhere.
Little Tina is Outta Here. She’s 18×24, acrylic and ink.
She’s all that and more. She likes to think of herself as little.
And, in some ways, she is.

She was born to be wild and brilliant, and so far her destiny is playing out.
Elektra. 30 x 40, acrylic, mixed media. Largely misunderstood. She can be really quite sweet. But don’t be telling her no. She’ll mess you up.
Oh Rachel. She is very shy and working on eye contact. But she’s confident in her own way.

Eunice. After that ‘incident’ with the phone book, she has retired from her job as a switchboard operator. She’s looking for a new party line now. 30 x 40. Acrylic, collage, ink and charcoal.

Svetlana is a svelt 18 x 36. She doesn’t care about the cold weather coming. She likes ice.
